After young Riley is uprooted from her life and moved to San Francisco, her core emotions–Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness–conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. These emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind. When an accident involving her happy memories changes her entire outlook, the emotions must work overtime to restore balance.

In debossed detail, the emotions take their place at the headquarters control panel, which comes forward with stunning applique work. Hidden behind it is the front zipper compartment, while Joy and the other emotions stand above. Behind them, silhouettes of the islands float in the distance in a beautiful gradient. On the back of the bag, the words “Every day is full of emotions” can be found in whimsical, brightly coloured fonts.
